Acting in Austin

   Just as I was thinking about getting cast in more films..it happens! ;)     I got the most pleasant phone call from Rachel , the producer and lead actress in a short film I audition for recently, and she told me that they wanted to cast me as the featured role I went in for!    I'm so excited to be apart of this production! I absolutely love being on set, especially as an actor. I'll probably do a couple of extra gigs still, just so I have some extra income coming in, but I really want to focus on getting footage for my demo reel. There's a couple of agencies I want to sign with and I really want to impress them and stand out from the rest.   I hope you all are doing well. It's been a little gloomy here in Austin but I kind of like the change. So it's been about three months since I've blogged. To be honest I forgot all about this page. I guess it's because I haven't been too busy with actual acting jobs, mostly background work...like today for instance.  It's a decent sized production with some big name actors. I booked this gig because I've worked with this extras casting company so many times that they contact me now, lol. Plus, it's good pay. AND, it's not a "cattle call" for this shoot today. It's only 5 extras and 3 people in cars, the kind of sets I like!  Anyways, I had an audition for this independent film that went really well! :) hopefully I get the part. It's a featured part, but I really liked the production company and the story seemed interesting.  And some more good news... The short that I filmed last year, "True Will" , is premiering this coming Sunday!!! Can wait to see the final cut and and the amazing cast and crew I worked with!  I'll try t
