Woah...

Is it 2014 already?! I guess time does fly by when you're having fun! This holiday season has been the busiest for me EVER! I've book some 2-3 day extra gigs. Those are always the best because not only is  it pay for each day, but you also get to make a lot of cool friends. I'm not sure how much i can say about the projects but once they're released I'll make sure to post picture and blog all about it. ;)

And in other news….

I've been cast in the short film "The Wild" directed by Carleton Ranney. This movie is a future, sci-fi, thriller and i'm so excited to be apart of it! We start filming next week. Today I have a make-up test for my "drug addict" look. :) Once we start filming I'll make sure to post lots of pictures on here!

So…I just wrapped my 3rd day on set for the film "The Wild". I played Laura, a drugged out chick who knows the secrets to the burning questions that the lead characters want answered. My 3 days were spread out over the entire corse of filming, and the shooting locations were spread out all over town so it was great showing up to a different location every time. Now that it's over it's time to move on to the next project. I'm considering sending out my headshots & resume to an agency that I've been dieting to sign with but I want to wait for clips of the projects I worked on for my demo reel. Patience IS a virtue. :) Now something my boyfriend didn't have patience for… IM ENGAGED! :))) On my cruise I just got back home for my boyfriend proposed to me! I'm super excited and still a little in shock! Can't wait 'til I walk down the isle!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I wasn't planning on writing a post today but I felt inspired so…why not?      When I fist moved to ATX at the end on 2013 I knew I made to right choice. The gigs were rolling in and I felt good about the steps I took to achieve them, but at the beginning of 2014 I stated to flat line. I felt that I wasn't as motivated as I once was. I've never been the one for resolutions but I think it's time I map out a plan of attack and take 2015 by storm. Some Goals for 2015: -Book a Feature Film(any role) -Book a recurring role on a TV/Web series -Book a role on a Major Film/TV Production -Continue with my YouTube Page -Keep Auditioning  The last one is actually really important to me. In the middle of 2014 I simply wasn't putting myself out there. And as the saying goes, "Showing up is 90% of the battle". Does 4am really exist?

Yes! It does, and it doesn't feel good. Lol.  I recently did background for a new show filming here in Austin and it was quite the experience. So much has been going on but I can't give a full update until I get on my laptop. I just wanted to say that I'm alive, I'm well, and I'm working! ☺️  Also, I'm going to start a new website soon. I really want a place to store my headshots, resume, on-set photos, social media sites, and a blog... All in one place that's easy to navigate. I think I found the perfect site but now I need to get the ball moving.  And..... I'm looking to get new headshots done. 😁  And....find an acting class/ coach. Jeezs.... I'm tired.
